The stages of your home project
1 - First visit and choice of model
You visit our models and our prefabrication factory. We'll meet with you to advise you on the best choice of homes for your needs. This meeting will also be used to determine whether you need to change the original plans of your model to make it fit perfectly with what you're looking for.
2 - Modification of drawings and plans
Modification of plans is possible for a fee of $200. Our draftsmen will ensure that the plans correspond to your needs and to the municipal standards you face.
3 - Quotation delivery
We will provide you with a quotation valid for 10 days. Upon signing, you'll be asked to make an initial deposit of 5%. This gives you time to get your bank approval and find your lot. If you don't go ahead with the purchase, the 5% deposit is reimbursed by deducting the costs we've incurred.
4 - Checking your lot
It's your responsibility to ensure that your lot is ready to receive the home. We can check it for you, at your expense.
5 - Choosing your materials
You can choose your materials during a meeting with our designer, who will be happy to advise you.
6 - Signing the sales contract
You will be required to make the 2nd 10% deposit upon signing the sales contract.
7 - Design and construction
We will design the detailed construction plans and provide you with the foundation or piling plans.
Construction time depends on our other ongoing projects. You will be informed of the delivery time at the first meeting.
8 - Find your contractors
You're responsible for finding the contractors who will finish installing your home: electrician, plumber, crane, foundation, piles. We can help you with this process, but this assistance is not included in the cost of the home.
9 - Delivery and installation
Your home is delivered on a pre-arranged route. Our team installs your home on your property, which can take from 1 to 3 days. The electrician and plumber connect your home. This usually takes 1 day.
